If there are two things I appreciate most in this world, it’s vegetables and sass. So, when I stumbled across the Thug Kitchen website a few years ago, I’d finally found the corner of the internet where people like me belong.
Most days – when I’m not giving in to Friday night cheese pizza cravings – I consume a completely plant-based diet. And in my search for vegan recipes that wouldn’t leave me searching the cupboards for snacks after dinner, Thug Kitchen stood out from the seemingly ubiquitous clean-eating crowd. It had style, it had flair; and hey, it was there.
Thug Kitchen: eat like you give a f**k is one of those rare tomes from which you’ll likely try every recipe – on the reg’. Sure, the language contained within may be dirtier than a tradie’s fingernails, but the food is so, f**king good.
